Developed on behalf of the Finger Lakes Community Development Corporation beginning in 2008, 3d Development was able to secure funding from the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal and Federal Home Loan Bank of New York to pay for construction and maximize affordability for the low-income senior citizens of Geneva. 3d Development was the developer for this project and coordinated all aspects of this project from application until construction completion. With assistance from the City of Geneva, the site, a former industrial property, was tested and remediated in order to make it suitable for residential development. This project is available to senior citizens aged 62 and older with Phase I and II consisting of 32 units each and Phase III consisting of 15 units.
Apartments are equipped with a range and refrigerator, carpet and tile throughout, ceiling fan, grab bars in the bathrooms, neighbor call/neighbor help pull strings in the bathroom and secure main entrance door with intercom. There is an onsite office, community room, laundry, storage and an outdoor patio.
